The Working Women's Survival Show was founded by Geri Kroon in 1985 and has enjoyed 36 years of fabulous food, fashion, fitness & fun in the St. Louis area.

 

As a St. Louis staple and source of entertainment for the past 36 years, the Working Women’s Survival Show has been a gathering for women and their families. Tens of thousands of attendees come from all over the country to enjoy the various entertainment acts, seminars, shopping, food, and celebrity speakers, such as Oprah Winfrey, Melissa Joan Hart, Dr. Ruth, Marie Osmond, and others.

 

Geri passed away in July of 2022.

In September of 2022, Jim Davis (long-time staff member for Geri) and Scott Perlman purchased the show in an effort to keep Geri's vision alive. “I learned that the show's future was in question and knew I had to do something,” said Davis. “Scott and I are so glad we can continue the show in her memory so that vendors and visitors can enjoy the Working Women’s Show for years to come." Davis & Perlman  decided to continue with Geri's plan to shorten and simplify the title of the show to "Working Women's Show" change the hours and reduce booth prices to better align with the times.

 

“We are certain that Geri would be delighted to see the show continue under Jim’s leadership, said Geri’s husband, Veryln Kroon. "I know that Geri’s children and I are very pleased to hand him the reins.”
