Creative Inspiration Through Dreams

Nighttime dreams can be a unique and intuitive resource for creative inspiration, business innovation, and personal transformation. Did you know that the first female self-made millionaire received the idea for her business success through a nighttime dream? Many artists, musicians, writers, and filmmakers create from dream-inspired visions. You, too, can learn how to access this great nocturnal intuitive treasure!

Laurel Clark is the Chair of the Board of the International Association for the Study of Dreams. She is a former president of that organization, and past president of the School of Metaphysics. She has been studying and teaching dreams for personal awareness since 1979. Laurel is an author of the book Intuitive Dreaming, a co-author of the book Dreams that Changed our Lives, a contributor to the 2-volume Encyclopedia of Sleep and Dreams, contributor to the book Weaving Dreams in the Classroom and co-editor and contributing author to the book Interpreting Dreams for Self-Discovery. She also has a story in the recently released book Chicken Soup for the Soul: Dreams and the Unexplainable. She has appeared on radio programs around the world discussing dreams, and has spoken to hundreds of groups, organizations, and universities about dreams. She has also presented at the International Association for the Study of Dreams conferences, in person and online, since 2008. Her website is www.laurelclark.com.

Stephanie Bledsoe has been helping people tackle photo overload for 20 years! As a photo preservationist, Stephanie is passionate about helping others tell the story behind their photos. She helps her clients develop a "photo plan" to manage and backup their photos, as well as sharing them with family, friends and future generations.

Gateway Blue Star Mothers

Gateway Blue Star mothers is a local chapter of the national organization "Blue Star Mothers of America, which is a private non-profit organization that not only supports mothers of sons and daughters that are serving, but also supports all service members, veterans and their families. Beth Bruening is the president of the chapter and the mother of an Army veteran. She will be here to explain the group’s purpose and mission as well as give information about the many fun and exciting ways the general public can help Gateway Blue Star Mothers support the military all throughout our community.

Building a Unified Career Branding Message

During this session, participants will learn creative ways to energize their career tool kit including how to enhance their LinkedIn profiles. They will learn how to identify and showcase personal strengths to expand their brand.

John Link is the Assistant Director for Career Development at Webster University’s Career Planning & Development Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

John provides comprehensive career coaching for undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Arts & Sciences and Leigh Gerdine College of Fine Arts. John earned a Master of Science in Student Affairs and Higher Education from Indiana State University, a Master of Arts in Education from East Carolina University, and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Indiana State University.
